Mantis Funds is a up-and-coming multi-boutique platform that focuses on enabling fund managers to juggle their daily tasks, as well keeping their clients updated every step of the way. I had the opportunity to design their pilot website as part of their launch to the market.
Named after an apex predator, Mantis Funds believes in rising above competition and bringing strong returns to their clients. Hence standing out from the market was a high priority for their launch.
Before starting, I knew that I was not very familiar with fund management, so I educated myself on the field to gain a better understanding of the client and their industry.
Through multiple conversations with the team, I uncovered their ethos and long term goals which allowed me to build a foundation for their brand identity and website.
I took inspiration from fin-tech companies as well as infographics and data representation because I felt that it would best represent Mantis Funds. The usage of the colour green was an obvious choice but I wanted to make a bold statement; 'We are Mantis' but also have an underlying meaning of success and growth.
